The population council is an NGO.
They are currently recruiting the following positions at their Office in Abuja:

1. Vacancy for an OPERATIONS RESEARCH MANAGER
This candidate should have the following, in order to be eligible for this Job

Degree in operation research and health economics. Candidates who possess a master’s in public health have an added advantage.
Should be well spoken in English language
Should have good computing skills
Should be willing to travel as required.
Should have worked for five years in a health related development program.

2. Vacancy for IT & WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER
This candidate should have a degree in computer science or in IT. Should be very fluent in English language.
Should have worked in an IT development system
should also be willing to travel as required
Should have worked for five years in a health related program

3. Vacancy for a RESEARCH DATA ANALYST
This candidate should have a master’s in public health or in a related area. Should have worked for at least five years in a similar role.
The person should be able to use Epi info and SPSS
Should be willing to travel both inside and outside of Nigeria.
Should have strong statistical and analytical skills.

4. Vacancy for a monitoring and evaluation COORDINATOR
this person should have a master’s in public health, social science or in a related course. This person should also have worked for at least five years. Should have very good communication skills and be very good in English, but spoken and written.
The candidate should also have strong statistical and analytical skills.
Should be willing to travel both inside and outside Nigeria.

5. HEALTH ECONOMIST
This person should have a degree in health economics. Candidates who have a master’s degree in public health have an advantage for this job vacancy.
Should also be very good in English, should be willing to travel inside and outside the country. Should have worked for at least five years in a similar establishment.•
