Position: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR FINANCE AND OPERATIONS
Location: Abuja

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Director for Finance and Operations must always oversee the overall accounting and office operations functions for all projects and programs operating in the office.
• Ability to assure field office finance and operations by managing and applying all MSH policies and procedures.
•Ability to establish and communicate office operations standards to MSH staff and consultants.

Qualifications:

• Masters level degree in Accounting or Business Management.
• A minimum of 10 or more years experience in finance and business management, with at least 3 years at a senior management level.
• Experience in USAID project accounting and operations management.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.

Position: FINANCE MANAGER
Location: Abuja
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Finance Manager must be responsible for assisting the Associate Director for Finance and Operations with safeguarding the assets (financial and physical) of MSH and ultimately the U.S. Government or other donor against fraudulent practices
• Understand and articulate the basic tenets of Internal Control and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to other staff members.
• Ability to develop tools to use to train staff in proper financial record keeping procedures and procurement integrity.
• Abilty to Lead the process of on going improvement of financial systems and internal controls.
•Ability to train, manage, supervise and support accounting office staffs
Qualifications
• University Degree in Accounting or Business Management, or equivalent certification from a Business Technical School
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or Finance Manager.
• Experience with USAID funded projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to use accounting software

Position: FINANCIAL ANALYST
Location: Abuja

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Financial Analyst must be responsible for assisting the Associate Director for Operations and FinanceFor all MSH projects in Nigeria
• Understand and articulate the basic tenets of Internal Control and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to other staff members as necessary
•Ability to Learn and master basic A110, A122, A133 (U.S. Government) Cost and Audit Principles.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• University Degree in Accounting or Business Management, or equivalent certification from a Business Technical School
• Minimum 5 years experience as an Accountant or Auditor.
• Experience with USAID funded projects.
• Demonstrate good judgment and sound financial common sense.
• Advanced written and verbal proficiency in English language including business terminology.

Position: ACCOUNTANT
Location: Abuja
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accountant is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in safe guarding the asset, both (financial and physical) of MSH and ultimately the US Government or other donors against fraud.
The Accountant is responsible for ensuring that any money expended in the field is done in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Qualifications
• University Degree in Accounting or equivalent certification from a Business Technical School
• Experience as an Accountant or understanding of key aspects of accounting, experience with US government projects will be helpful.
• Prot1ciency in Microsoft Oft1ce programs, especially spreadsheet or comparable software.
• Ability to use basic accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks)

Position: SYSTEM ANALYST/ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Abuja
RESPONSIBLITIES:
The Systems Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions.
• Assist in the planning, design, development, of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Review-and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Qualifications
• A minimum of College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management or business administration and 5 years related work experience.
• a minimum of MCSE 2003/2008, Security +, ITIL v3,hands-on experience in java and Visual Basic
Knowledge& Experience
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
• Working technical knowledge of Java and Visual Basic programming languages.
• Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Win XP, Vista Win 7,2003 server, 2008.
• Extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, Adobe Acrobat professional
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

Position: INVENTORY ASSISTANT
Location: Abuja
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day store management in an effort to provide support by coordinating the receipt and disbursement of inventory items.
• Assist to manage the implementation of store control and improvement initiatives from creation to conclusion.
• Verify receipt of supplies and issuance of materials from the store.
• Ensure the shipping Manifest corresponds with the Delivery Waybills.
• Ensure Accountability of Unused portion of items in the store,
• Assist the procurement unit in the ordering process.
• Assist in proper Coding, Labeling and Branding of MSH Assets and Equipment.
• Ensure that the procedure for Issuance and receipt of items are complied with.

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Communication, Public Relations or a related field
• Proven programmatic, technical and interpersonal skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications, teamwork and collaborating abilities
• Demonstrated excellent computer skills in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to work independently with initiative to manage high volume and sensitive work flow.
• Fluency in oral and written English required 7. Willingness to travel within Nigeria regularly as required
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and must work well under deadlines
• 3-5 years working experience in this field.

Note: There are no relocation allowances available for these positions.
