A. BOSUN (NSML/2011/RD01)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships

Responsibilites:
- organise †ђξ deck ratings to carry out †ђξ assignments of †ђξ chief office or chief engineer, ensuring †ђξ compliance of all ratings to †ђξ instruction of †ђξ boss
- initial safety and discipline of all deck ratings
- attend ship board management and safety meetings as required
- assist in †ђξ mooring and anchoring of †ђξ ves
Responsible for †ђξ control and distribution of all deck stores and paint
Requirements:
- posses EDH and PSCRB certifications and STCW certificates to work on board ship
- minimum of 36 months sea time of which 18 months should have been spent on deck duties as Able Seaman
- ability to work in a multicultural environment and a good team player
Excellent leadership, communications and interpersonal skills
-experience on steam ships/LNG/LPG carrier is necessary
Minimum age of 30 years

2. ABLE SEAMAN (REF: NSML/2011/RD02)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
- responsible to †ђξ master and chief officer when navigational watch for †ђξ steering of †ђξ ship and keeping of an efficient bridge lookout during †ђξ hours of darkness, reduced visibility
- general cleaning and maintenance duties and keeping of a deck watch in port
- tending of moorings and gangway as required
-Assisting with cargo operations as directed by †ђξ master or chief officer
-General maintenance of †ђξ ship and its equipment and fittings
-assisting in †ђξ mooring and anchoring of †ђξ ship
Requirements:
- possess EDH and PSCRB certificates and STCW certificates to work on board a ship
- at least 12 months sea time performing deck duties
- must not be less than 18 years of age
- excellent interpersonal skills and team player and ability to work in a multicultural environment

3. ORDINARY SEAMAN (REf: NSML/2011/RD03)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
-Responsible to †ђξ master and chief for †ђξ steering of †ђξ ship and keeping of an efficient bridge lookout during †ђξ hours of darkness, reduced visibility
- – responsible to †ђξ master and chief officer when navigational watch for †ђξ steering of †ђξ ship and keeping of an efficient bridge lookout during †ђξ hours of darkness, reduced visibility
- general cleaning and maintenance duties and keeping of a deck watch in port
- tending of moorings and gangway as required

Requirements:
- watch and steering certificates
- at least 6 months sea time performing deck duties

4. JUNIOR ORDINARY SEAMAN (REF: NSML/2011/RD04)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
- understudy †ђξ able seaman during †ђξ steering of theship and keeping of an efficient bridge lookout during †ђξ hours of darkness, reduced visibility and any other time as required
-understudy †ђξ seaman during †ђξ keeping of a deck watch in port
- responsible to †ђξ master and chief officer when navigational watch for †ђξ steering of †ђξ ship and keeping of an efficient bridge lookout during †ђξ hours of darkness, reduced visibility
- general cleaning and maintenance duties and keeping of a deck watch in port
- tending of moorings and gangway as required
-Assisting with cargo operations as directed by †ђξ master or chief officer
-General maintenance of †ђξ ship and its equipment and fittings
-assisting in †ђξ mooring and anchoring of †ђξ ship
Requirements:
- possess evidence of completion of SSCE and steering certificate
- at least 3 months sea time performing deck duties and excellent interpersonal skills
- minimum age of 18 years

5. CHIEF COOK (REF: NSML/2011/RC01)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
- responsible to the master for †ђξ performanace and safety of †ђξ catering department and preparation, cooking and service of food to †ђξ ships officers and crew
- preparation of inventories for all †ђξ catering and cabin stores
- supervision and preparation/cooking of meals for †ђξ master and officers
-preparing of indents for provisions and cabin stores
-maintenance of galley and stores areas in a clean and tidy condition
Requirements:
- possess cooks’ certificate of competency part 1 and 2 with intermediate hygiene certificate
- minimum of 12 months sea time performing cooking duties
- good communications, leadership and interpersonal skills
- minimum of 20 years of age

6. SECOND COOK (REF:NSML/2011/RC0E)
Location: on board NLNG charted ships
Responsibilities:
- responsible to †ђξ cook and master for †ђξ preparation, cooking and service of food to †ђξ ship’s crew
- cleanliness of galley including all cutlery and crockery
- supervision and preparation/cooking of meals for †ђξ ratings
_ assisting with inventories and storing of †ђξ vessel
Requirements:
- intermediate hygiene certificate
-at least 9 months sea time performing catering duties
- good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment and a good team player
- minimum of 18 years of age

7. MESSMAN (REF: NSML/2011/RC03)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
- responsible to †ђξ cook and master for †ђξ general cleanliness of †ђξ cabins, alleyways, accommodation and public areas
-Assisting in †ђξ preparation of food and cleaning up
- general cleanliness of accommodation, including alleyways, cabins and public rooms
-maintenance of galley and stores areas in a clean and tidy condition
Requirements:
-basic hygiene certificate
-at least 6 months sea time performing catering duties
- good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment and a good team player
-minimum of 18 years of age

8. MACHINIST (REF: NSML/2011/RE01)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
-responsible for †ђξ chief engineer for assisting †ђξ engine room watch keeper/UMS duty engineers as required in particular with regard to †ђξ maintenance of †ђξ plant
- maintenance of all machinery, technical equipment, plant etc as instructed and under †ђξ supervision of an engineer officer
- efficient repair work to fittings, structure which includes fabrication, welding, burning etc
- assisting with †ђξ mooring of †ђξ ship
Requirements:

Requirements:

- responsible to †ђξ chief engineer in assisting †ђξ engine roon watch keeper/UMS duty engineers as requires in particular with †ђξ operation of †ђξ plant
- assist with †ђξ maintenance and lubrication of all machinery, technical equipment, plant etc as requires by an engineer officer
- general cleaning, house keeping duties as instructed by an engineer officer
- assist with mooring of †ђξ ship
Requirement:
- at least 6 months sea time
good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment and a good team player
- minimum of 18 years of age

11. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (REF NSML/2011/RA01)

Responsibilities:
- responsible to †ђξ master in performing administrative duties as required on board †ђξ vessel
- general secretarial and pre/post port administrative duties
- shipboard documents and certification maintenance and shipboard accounts
-spare gear and central

11. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (REF NSML/2011/RA01)
Location: on board NLNG chartered ships
Responsibilities:
- responsible to †ђξ master in performing administrative duties as required on board †ђξ vessel
- general secretarial and pre/post port administrative duties
- shipboard documents and certification maintenance and shipboard accounts
-spare gear and central stores inventories and associated documentation
-assist in monitoring of budget against expenditure
- safety performance including support for †ђξ ship board safety officer
Requirements:
- evidence of proficiency in microsoft office suite and possess mandatory STCW certificate to work on board †ђξ vessel
- good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a multicultural environment and a good team player
- minimum age of 20 years
