REQUIREMENT
PROFESSOR
- candidates must demonstrate clear evidence of scholarship through considerable academic publications in †ђξ specialty and as well have 10 years post doctoral/fellowship (National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, West Africa postgraduate College and other equivalent Fellowship qualification as applicable to †ђξ area of specialisation). First degree in Medicine or Dentistry is required where applicable. Considerable experience in teaching/research in a University and must demonstrate capacity to participate in inter/multi disciplinary research, ability to provide academic leadership in addition to reasonable administrative experience
ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- candidates must demonstrate clear evidence of scholarship through considerable academic publications in †ђξ specialty and as well have 8 years post doctoral/fellowship (National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, West Africa postgraduate College and other equivalent Fellowship qualification as applicable to †ђξ area of specialisation). First degree in Medicine or Dentistry is required where applicable. Considerable experience in teaching/research in a University and must demonstrate capacity to participate in inter/multi disciplinary research, ability to provide academic leadership in addition to reasonable administrative experience
SENIOR LECTURER
- a good honours degree in †ђξ area of specialty with Higher Degree such as Doctorate or where applicable as appropriate with Fellowship of †ђξ National Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent qualification
- candidates must possess Ph.D with at least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer I where applicable or Ph.D with 6 years experience in teaching and research in a university
- demonstrate research capability through scholarly publications in reputable journals
- must possess reasonable administrative experience and demonstrate ability to provide academic leadership
LECTURER
- a good honours degree in †ђξ area of specialty with Higher Degree such as Doctorate or where applicable as appropriate with Fellowship of †ђξ National Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent qualification
- candidates must possess Ph.D with at least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer I where applicable or Ph.D with 6 years experience in teaching and research in a university
- demonstrate research capability through scholarly publications in reputable journals

FACULTY OF CLINICAL SCIENCES

Candidates must possess a masters degree with evidence of considerable teaching and research potential/experience

FACULTY OF DENTISTRY
A. Principal dental laboratory technologist
- ANIST/AIST or full technological diploma or city and guilds in relevant fields or membership of recognised professional bodies i. e. NIST national diploma of medical laboratory with 12 years post qualification experience or BSC/HND in medical laboratory science with certificate of registration of †ђξ medical laboratory council of nigeria for health technologist with 10 years post qualification experience

B. Senior dental laboratory technologist
- ANIST/AIST or full technological diploma or city and guilds in relevant fields or membership of recognised professional bodies i. e. NIST national diploma of medical laboratory with 9 years post qualification experience or BSC/HND in medical laboratory science with certificate of registration of †ђξ medical laboratory council of nigeria for health technologist with 7 years post qualification experience
C. LABORATORY ASSISTANT
- WASC/GCE with credits in English language plus science subjects or year II preliminary examinations of city and guilds or LTTS
D. LABORATORY ATTENDANT
WASC/GCE with credits in english language plus science subjects
