MANAGING DIRECTOR WANTED IN AN OIL AND GAS SERVICES COMPANY
Responsibilities;
- reports to the Chairman
- develop new business and ensure the growth and rogress of the company while ensuring cost effective execution of on going projects
- plan, develop and implement strattegies for generating resources and revenues in order to generate adequate profit for the company
- develop, implement and chieve annual business plan for the operation including profit and loss, growh and balance objectives
- meet with customers to determine opportunities and technical requirements of projects and contracts and promote the image, capacity and integrity of the company
- ensure long and short term human resources needs of the operations are met
- oversee the process of recruiting and retaining employees of the company to ensure that the standard of the company does not deteriorates
- work as a high level sales person to introduce and bring new clients and projects for the company
- achieve and exceed key operational KPIs and maintain high quality standards and accountable for archieving the budget
- monitor performance of each department and ensure optimum staff levels to achieve quality and financial performance and implementing improvements to ensure the company achieves competitive advantage and profitability
- identify parnerships and acquisition opportunites and direct implementation activities
requirements:
- excellent technical, managerial and administrative skills
- ability to manage all departments of the company with maximum efficiency
- competency in commercial negotiation pf projects and contracts to successfull conclusion
- far sightedness and ability to scrutinize effectively all departments of the company
- degree and post graduate in engineering most preferably mechnical engineering with exvellent leadership qualities with NSE and COREN certifications and MB
- minimum of 20 years post qualification experience and not less than 12 years experience in the oil and gas sector with god exposure to handling technical functions
- proficiency in microsoft office suites and autoCD and other enginering softwares
- age between 40 to 50 years and must be fluent in English and knowledge of french will be an added advantage
