CONSTRUCTION AND PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT FIRM JOBS

A Lagos based construction and property development company invites applications form suitable and qualified applicants to fill †ђξ vacant positions:

1. PROJECT COORDINATOR/DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities:
- coordinate all business development and research activities required to provide necessary information to support business decisions
- engage with relevant stakeholders both internal and external in ensuring project deliverables are met
- define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders
- estimate †ђξ resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- coordinate projects and act as central point of contact for †ђξ project team

Requirements:
- HND/BSC in engineering or related discipline with minimum of 8 years practical experience in construction industry

2. ARCHITECT

Responsibilities:
- design new structures, extensions or alterations to existing structures or advising on †ђξ restoration and conservation of old properties and other structures
- prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals
- produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications for construction and approval
- regular site visit to check on progress, ensure that †ђξ project is running on time and to budget

Requirements:
- BSC/HND in architecture or related field with at least 2 to 4 years experience working experience in construction firm will be an added advantage

3. QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities:
- prepare estimates and cost of work to be done per project
- manage company’s cost profile relating to building and construction engineering projects
- prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities with †ђξ architect
-undertake costs analysis for construction, repairs and maintenance project work
- advise on procurement strategy

Requirements:
- HND/BSC in quantity surveying, geography, mathematics, urban and land studies, civil or structural engineering or related discipline with at least 2 years post NTSC experience will be an added advantage

4. PROJECT/SITE ENGINEERS

Responsibilities:
- act as a main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craft people and operatives
- ensure all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
- manage, monitor and interpret †ђξ contract design documents supplied by †ђξ architect
- liaise with any consultant, sub contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and general workforce involved in †ђξ project
- daily management of †ђξ site, including supervising and monitoring †ђξ site labour force and †ђξ work of any sub contractors

Requirements:
- HND/BSC in building construction technology or structural engineering or relevant field with at least 4 years post NYSC experience in †ђξ construction industry will be an added advantage
