BUA GROUP is a reputable conglomerate with interest in Cement, Sugar Refining, Flour milling, oil milling, port concession, real estate and shipping. Due to expansion and repositioning, BUA GROUP requires the services of bright and highly driven individuals with groundwell training, education and experience for the upcoming BUA PASTA PLANT located at kirikiri, Apapa, Lagos

1. MANAGER, PURCHASING – REF:0001 RESPONSIBILITIES: – report to the General Manager and control and administration of purchasing activities – processing of all purchase requisitions and coordination of management approval for purchase of consumables – negotiate and purchase materials that meet specified quality and quantity aat optimal cost – maintain optimum re order level of stock items and ensure no over stock and stock out situation – planning and implementation of material request to accord with mill operations while maintaining effective inventory control system to enhance good working capital

2. MANAGER, WAREHOUSE – REF:0002 RESPONSIBILITIES – Report to the General Manager, Site Manager and Warehouse Manager – efficient warehouse operations and accurate record keeping of stock position and good house keeping practice – coordinating product storage and consistent stock management and control and monitor and receive products from mill and prepare store receipts notes – proper labelling of products and conducting stock count exercise

3. MANAGER, SILO – REF:0003 RESPONSIBILITIES – report to the General Manager – controlling the filling ad emptying of silos, vessel discharge activities and the loading and dispatch of bulk grain vehicles destined for other mills

4. MANAGER, MAINTENANCE – REF:0004 RESPONSIBILITIES – report to the General Manager – planning and maintenance of equipment maintenance strategies to meet milling and allied operations and supervising the maintenance crew in the execution of their daily tasks – effective documentation of equipment and facilities for good monitory information and asset care management and planning and implementation of maintenance requirement and costing in relation to maintenance plan and budget

5. MANAGER, CONTROL QUALITY – REF:0005 RESPONSIBILITIES – Report to the Quality Control Manager – monitor and control of the testing program of raw materials and manufaturing process and equipment in conformity with stipulated standard – monitor and control of the testing program of finished goods, enforcing and maintaining standards at all time and attend to customer and public complaints on products quality and liaise with ivernment regulatory bodies on matters relating to product quality and environment – supervise microbiological test and housekeeping/GMP programmes as well as work in collaboration with Human Resources and other unit heas to formalise all plant activities/procedures across all business areas

6. MANAGER, FINANCIAL CONTROL – REF:0006 RESPONSIBILITIES – report to the General Manager and must be charteresd accountant with minimum of 5 years post chartered industry experience – prepare monthly financial position and quarterly statements – establish system controls for financial systems and procedures to improve existing systems and undertake the mauntenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses and insurance records – direct internal audit and work with external auditors in the preparation of FYE and be involved in the preparation of General leder for internal and external purposes and assist in the preparation of quarterly/yearly expenditure budget

7. MANAGER, HR – REF:0007 RESPONSIBILITIES: – Report to the General Manager – development of the Human Resources department, recruitment, staff development and training – performance management, appraisals, compensation and benefits administration and employee relations: regulatory and statuory compliance – policy development and documentation ad company employee and community communication – development of an employee-oriented company culture emphasing quality, ontinous improvement, key employee retention and development

8. MANAGEMENT TRAINEES – REF:0008 REQUIREMENTS: – at least second class honours degree from a reputable institution or upper credit from polythecnic in any science, engineering, socila sciences, finance and business administration – NYSC discharge certificate and must not be more than 28 years of age – computer literate, strong team player woth 5 credit passes in O level including mathematics and english language at not more than 2 sittings

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS – all applicants must be computer literate – candidates for positions 1, 2, 3 and 5 must possess at least first degree with minimum of 5 years relevant working experience, prefaraby in food and beverage industry – applicants for position 6 must be charters aountants with requisite experience an in addition to possession of the first degree from a reputable institution – applicants for position 4 must have minimum of bachelor degree second class honours or equivalent in Microbilogy, Food science and Technology, Biochemistry from a recognised institution
