A reputable downstream oil and gas company based in Lagos and quoted on the Nigeria Stock exchange welcomes application from qualified personnel:
MANAGING DIRECTOR/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the company in line with the medium to long term strategic vision of the Board of Directors
Provide strategic leadership, direction and guidance for the management team and staff of the company and implementation of business and investment strategies
Work closely with the board of directors to ensure the implementation of the corporate strategies and provide guidance for the management team and staff of the company
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements and develop business in line with the set objectives and maintain strategic relationships with the various stakeholders, key institutions and investors
Exercise executive management responsibility over the delivery of the company’s statutory obligations to the stakeholders
Requirements:
First degree in engineering, economics, finance, business administration or any relevant discipline with at least 10 years post graduation experience of which 5 years must be in senior management level in a related industry
Post graduate degree in business/finance/MBA will be a plus
Good understanding of the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry with strong professional profile with excellent business development skills
Good leadership, business management, interpersonal, marketing, communication skills are required
