Multiple job positions at a Building manufacturing company 18 february 2012

A fast growing and leading manufacturer of building material products based in central Nigeria requires the services of the following due to expansion of operations;

1. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES: – develop and implement HR policies, processes and procedures to ensure best HR practises – formulate and implement HR strategy in line with the business strategy, failitate and coordinate training and manage staff payroll – responsible for performance management and develop employees capacity for optimal performance

REQUIREMENTS: -  First degree in social sciences, personnel management or humanities with a masters degree in personnel management or business administration will be a plus with at least 10 years experience in a large organisation with workforce of over 500 employees and must be a chartered member of institute of personnel management

2. PROJECT MANAER RESPONSIBILITIES – coordinate project activities at the site, interprete civil engineering designd and drawings, ability to develop and sustain excellent working relation with the employer and other employees at the site and ability to under under pressure – ensure most construction efficient and assured solutions are adopted at all times

REQUIREMENTS – first degree or equivalent in civil engineering with professional membership of recognised engineering bodies plus masters or certificate in project management will be added advantage – understanding of project management in onstruction industry with at least 10 years experience in construction industry of which 4 years as project manager

3. CIVIL ENGINEERS RESPONSIBILITIES – ability to interprete engineering designs and drawings and ensure that construction work follows accurately the required design and correct mix of materials – ability to work flexible schedules to ensure early completion of projects

REQUIREMENTS – first degree or equivalent in civil engineering with minimum of 5 years in construction industry and ability to work with minimal supervision with excellent report writting skills

4. SITE SUPERVISORS/FOREMEN RESPONSIBILITIES – supervise various work gangs at the site an interface netwwn civil engineers and the gangs and ensure smooth working relation at the site – ensure materials are available when needed and such materials are optimally utilized

REQUIREMENTS – OND or city and Guild in civil engineering, masonry, iron work or carpentry

5. CUSTOMER CARE OFFICER (FEMALE) RESPONSIBILITIES – receiving calls from customers, updating customers accounts, follow up customers orders for products, providing products information and advice to customers

REQUIREMENTS – first degree or equivalent in business administration, marketing, english or mass communication with minimum of 5 years experience is related role – matured. intelligent, friendly, charming with strong oral and written communication
