Osa Foundation is a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) whose mission is to work with the poor and marginalized people to eradicate poverty by overcoming situations that cause it. The organization works with funders/donors to reduce HIV/AIDS Prevalence and mitigate its impact in the rural communities of Benue State.

The organization is looking for suitably qualified persons to fill in the following positions:

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Responsibilities:
Drafts or adopts appropriate M&E tools for the organization’s use. ·
Liaises with project officers to develop a monitoring plan for the organization.
Builds the capacity of Project Officers and Volunteers on the use of appropriate M&E tools.
Drafts appropriate project indicators.
Conducts routine visits to project sites to track progress.
Assists the CEO to ensure that projects/programmes are implemented in line with National & state guidelines, policies and or strategic plans.
Collects and process data for the organization.
Manages data for the organization
Writes periodic reports to relevant stakeholders.
Assists the CEO in conducting debriefing/dissemination meetings
Represents the organization at M&E forum.
Assists the CEO in projecting the image of the organization.
Carries out other official duties as assigned.

2. Finance Officer
Responsibilities
1. To receive funds and make bank deposits for the organization.

2. To keep books of accounts.

3. To keep new bundles of receipt booklets.

4. To prepare and pay staff salary.

5. To raise necessary documents for approving expenditure

6. To carryout payments of the approved vouchers.

7. To give advances for project use.

8. To make financial reports to appropriate stakeholders.

9. To make available books of accounts to external auditor(s) of the organization to audit accounts.

10. To ensure prudent use of project funds in line with budget provision.

11. Carries out other official duties as may be assigned.

Further Qualification Criteria.

Applicants for the 2 positions must be familiar with working conditions of an NGO
Applicants for the 2 positions must be computer literate.
Applicants for the 2 positions must be resident in Makurdi, Benue State.
Applicants for the 2 positions must be willing to resume work immediately.
Applicants for the 2 positions must have relevant academic qualification and experience for the position s/he is applying.
