- SENIOR ENGINEER, CONTRACT PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATION
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work approximately on design and scoping of a contract
- Review tender contract and update checklist template in the system
- Prepare the summary matrix of contract clauses in the system
- Prepare work breakdown structure and resource estimation for project execution
- Work with project manager, prepare the contract templates and review contractual obligations and contract templates
- Update and maintain contract register highlighting payment conditions
- Assist in the development of project contracting strategy, analyzing ad assessing alternative contracting strategies as part of optimizing the overall execution strategy
- Integrate overall commercial and technical contracting components and ensure overall contract quality and integrity
- Ensure all contract change orders comply with contractual requirements and established controls, policies and procedures specific to the project
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in engineering with degree in business studies such as MBA or commercial law
- At least 6 years of contract administration experience preferably in oil and gas engineering projects
- Familiar with WBS and their application when developing/using progress monitoring
- Experience executing major oil and gas engineering contracts
- Adept at the development of detailed contractual terms and conditions
- Proven track record in contract negotiations and administration
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
- Participate in meeting with all project sponsors, project engineers and project managers during the tender/RFP process
- Experience working effectively with project engineers and understand their technical plans and specifications
- Experience in project management, sourcing and establishing relationship to win business for the company
- STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
- BSC in civil/structural engineering
- SACA expert
- At least 5 years experience
- INSTRUMNETATION ENGINEER
- BSC in electrical engineering
- Fire and gas specialist
- At least 5 years experience
- STRUCTURAL DRAFTER
- BSC in civil/structural engineering
- At least 3 years experience in an oil and gas industry with good knowledge of PDMS and PDS software
- ACCOUNTANT
- HND in accounting/part 2 of ICAN AND ACA, ACCA certified
- At least 4 years post NYSC work experience of which 1 year in oil and gas sector
- Project accounting experience is required
- Hands on experience using peachtree
