A leading financial ser ice group seeks:

1. HEAD BUSINESS PLANNING AND IMPROVEMENT

-          To ensure effective development of business strategy, products, channels and viable business plans for continued growth and optimal profitability of the group

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Establish and implement short and long term organizational goals, objectives and operating procedures

-          Evaluate market size, competitors, accomplishments and industry structures

-          Plan, develop and implement business strategies for generating revenue and revenue productivity

-          Monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness and effect changes required for improvement

-          Oversee product development and monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services

-          Evaluate new business opportunities for the group

-          Provide consultative, technical and staff support as appropriate to strategic decision making committees

-          Prepare, monitor and evaluate the implementation of business plans

-          Provide input to the management committee in the development of targets for the various business units

-          Coordinate budget preparation for the business planning and improvement department

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC in business administration, accounting, statistics, economics, insurance or actuarial science

-          MSC in economics or any other business related field is a plus

-          ACA, PHD, ACIIN will be added advantage

-          At least 10 years experience in corporate planning and strategy development role of which 4 years in the management post

-          Good knowledge of financial accounting, information management, business and the industry

-          Highly numerical with superior analytical and problem solving skills
