CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

A globally largest processor and merchandisers of palm and lauric oils and a major oil palm plantation owner. There are vacancies in our plantations in the cross river state, Nigeria:

 

  1. HVC OFFICER

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Report to the CSR department, plantation head and general manager

-          HCV management and field monitoring for HCV areas for all of Nigerians operations

-          Internal field auditing for RSPO compliance for HCV related matters

-          Supervise and coordinate all operation staff and workers under his charge

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC in biological sciences or related degree

-          Field and biodiversity survey experience

-          Ability to work independently

-          Excellent communication, people management and interpersonal skills

-          Understanding of the requirement of the roundtable of sustainable palm oil is preferred but not mandatory

  1. MANAGER, CORPORATE AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Effectively coordinate all matters relating to public and government relations, regulatory affairs for the company in the state capital of calabar or environs

-          Effective administrative service where necessary to business within the region

-          Handle key stakeholders like community leaders, NGO, government department, immigration, customs, policies and other government departments

-          Attend all related stakeholder community meetings on behalf of the organization

-          Assist the company in organizing events and community welfare activities

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC in the humanities, social sciences or law

-          MBA is an added advantage

-          At least 5 years experience in a similar role

-          Exceptional at relationship management and community liaison business development with extensive customer interaction

-          Effective written, oral and presentation skills

-          Ability to work under pressure and with little supervision

-          Proficiency in the use of MS office packages

  1. SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Coordinate and expedite placement of purchase orders to ensure on time delivery of materials in the most cost effective manner

-          Responsible for materials scheduling/procurement and delivery from Lagos to Calabar and other locations

-          Responsible for Port clearing of imported goods

-          Track all supply and order from plantation business and coordinate with supplier

-          Review and develop all current supply chain systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and accurate

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC in purchasing and supply or other related field

-          At least 4 years working experience in a similar role/environment

-          Relevant professional/qualifications/membership

-          Exceptional negotiation skills

-          Effective oral and written communication skills

-          Ability to work under pressure and work on own initiative

-          Highly motivated and ability to build close relationships internally and externally

  1. MANAER – LEGAL AFFAIRS

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Coordinate all legal and regulatory activities an ensure compliance with the laws of land

-          Responsible for drafting all official documentation related to contracts, tenders, employments and other communication

-          Support all legal processes for acquisitions or any form of partnership within Nigeria and coordinate with the groups overseas legal advisors

-          Ensure all investments are efficiently processed and as per the Government guidelines

-          Represent the organization at the forums where matters regulatory nature is required to b addressed

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          Degree in law and must have been called to bar

-          At least 2 years experience in a similar environment

-          Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills

-          Effective oral, written and presentation skills

-          Ability to work under pressure and with own initiative

  1. ACCOUNTANTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Exposure to SAP and ERP packages is preferred

-          Posting of daily/weekly transaction and accurate maintenance of accounts

-          Responsible for cash management, purchase transactions, posting and payment of various suppliers

-          Monthly bank reconciliation and managing all bank accounts

-          Presenting financial statements and regular operational and financial reports

-          Preparation of monthly P&L, B/S and cash flow statements

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          5 to 10 years experience in an accounting department of a large firm

-          Exposure to an integrated accounting system

-          ACA or ICAN

-          University degree
