Vacancies for a Doctor in Medecins Sans Frontieres to act as a Medical Coordination Assistant in Abuja.

Organization: Medecins sans Frontieres

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Working hours: 48 hours per week. This candidate has to be flexible.

Reports to: Medical Coordinator

Responsibilities:

This candidate would be in charge of surveillance and follow up

Management of MSF OCBA emergency response

Management of Stocks

Other Responsibilities:

To assist the Medical coordinator in any other duty which may be related or not related to emergencies?

Participate in elaboration of monthly quarterly and annual reports of the mission

Technically support the mission’s medical teams in the absence of the medical coordinator

To move to other MSF OCBA locations in the country if needed

To participate in the implementation for the missions plans and policies

Qualification required for this position:

The candidate should have a degree in Medicine

Should be able to communicate in English and in local languages

Should have knowledge of tropical medicine, general medicine, epidemiology and outbreak response

Should have previous MSF experience

Should have worked for at least two years in similar position
