MANAGEMENT SCIENCES FOR HEALTH (MSH)

The prevention organizational systems AIDS care and treatment project is a USAID funded project managed by MSH. The goal of the project is to build the capacity of Nigeria’s private/public institutions and communities to strengthen sustainable systems for HIV/AIDS AND TB service delivery. The project seeks:

 

1. HIV/AIDS CLINICAL ADVISOR

LOCATION: ABUJA

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

- provide technical leadership and management of the PRO ACT AIDS palliative care including management of opportunistic infections and prophylaxis, ART, TB-HIV Co infection and PMTCT programs in a manner that strengthens integrated delivery of health services in partnership with the state government and  other partners and leads to sustainable HIV/AIDS prevention and control efforts

- spearhead the strategic design and implementation of comprehensive care and treatment services including BPC, ART AND TB/HIV services under the Pro-ACT project in Nigeria

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          Post graduate degree in medicine or public health

-          At extensive experience working on HIV/AIDS treatment programs

-          Experience in working with government partners to strengthen TB/HIV programs at the national and sub national levels and rapid start up of ART and palliative care services is a must

-          At least 2 years experience in program management at a senior level

-          Experience in operations research and health system strengthening is added advantage
