- PROGRAM MANAGER, GLOBAL FUND PMTCT
LOCATION; ABUJA
DURATION: JULY DECEMBER 2012
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the senior program manager in the accelerated prevention of mother to child transmission PMTCT grant from global fund principle recipient the national agency for the control of AIDS
- Responsible for the planning, coordination, management and reporting of project activities at the PHC level
- Oversee the work of sub-sub grantees in allocated state
REQUIREMENTS
- BSC in public health, masters degree in public health or related field will be preferred
- At least 4 years experience working in public health including HIV/AIDS and PMTCT with significant program management responsibilities
- Ability to manage project in an HIV/AIDS service delivery setting including working with government authorities
- Proven experience working with and through partner organizations including the public sector
- Knowledge and experience of and experience with UN, USG, GF projects
- Ability to travel 40% of time of field sites
- Excellent analytical, organizational and oral and written communication skills
