1. Provost
Location: Lafiagi, Kwara State
Basic Salary: COMPASS 9 excluding allowances.
Responsibilities:
The Provost is the Chief Executive Officer of the College and is therefore expected to provide the required academic, administrative and professional leadership for the College in executing the broad policies laid down for the achievement of the objectives for which the institution was established.
The candidate must show evidence of the ability to foster good rapport with the appropriate organs of the Kwara State Government, Federal Government of Nigeria, relevant professional bodies for the attainment of the institution’s objectives and should not be more than 50 years of age.
Requirements
The candidate must be a graduate of a recognized University and must, in addition, hold a higher degree (masters).
Possession of a Doctorate Degree (PhD) is an advantage. These qualifications should be in any of the disciplines in Science and Technical Education.
Possession of a professional qualification in Education is mandatory.
The candidate must have minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualification experience in teaching and research, not less than ten (10) of which must have been spent in the service of a tertiary institution.
The candidate must show evidence of continuous engagement in research through substancial academic publications in national and international journals.
The candidate must be a person of exemplary character, able to command the respect and loyalty of an academic community
