  1. AUDIT OFFICER – PORTHARCOURT

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Accountable for independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the company’s financial, physical and information resource are managed. And add value by acting as a facilitator, in business risk management and carrying out value for money reviews

-         Review of inventory on spot basis and periodically and tickets, programs, logbooks, waybills and truck out reports

-         Review of customer accounts with receipts/collection on Cargo basis and monthly/periodic bank reconciliation and management accounts

-         Review of Company’s General Ledgers especially income and expense lines for revenue assurance and financial reports for irregular transactions/balances and call for support proof and document on need basis

-         Review bank transactions to detect any forms of unauthorized bank charges or unauthorized debits and mitigate reoccurrence of such and all income channels and ensuring controls re upheld to mitigate any forms of income leakages in the system

-         Help in confidential investigation of policy violations, customer’s complaints and control breaches

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         B.Sc/HND from a recognized Nigerian University/Polytechnic

-         Good understanding of accounting principles, policies and global best practices

-         Experience with audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits

-         Understanding of computerized accounting and auditing record keeping systems

-         ability to gather, analyze and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports

-         Ability to maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit

 

  1. ACCOUNTING OFFICER – PORTHARCOURT

-         Accountable for coordination of routine accounting activities, documentations, proper filing and archiving of accounting documents as well as reports preparation

 

Responsibilities

-         Provide daily sales data into the system

-         Update customer accounts with receipts/ collections on Cargo basis

-         Reconcile customers account with sales team and system stock balance with stock reports from depots

-         Manage all bank and bank related operations

-         Create monthly/periodic bank reconciliation

-         Create monthly/periodic management accounts

-         Prepare weekly reports

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         ICAN/ACA

-         B.Sc or HND

-         At least 2 years experience in the downstream sector of the Oil & Gas sector

-         not more than 30years at the next birthday

 

  1. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Monitor the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions

-         Coordinate organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes

-         Develop employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs

-         Provide a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning and implementing pay structure revisions

-         Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings

-         Provide management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

-         Build historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records

-         professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

-          Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

-         Provide human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

-         Provide human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

-         Add to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         Knowledge of Hiring, Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Supports Diversity, Classifying Employees, Employment Law and Organization Management.

-         BSC in Human / Personnel Management or its equivalent, MBA as an advantage

-         Professional membership in Human Resource/ Personnel Institute like Chartered Institute of Personal Management

-         At least 10 years experience in Human Resource/ Personnel in a reputable organization

 

  1. ICT SYSTEM ANALYST

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Give adequate First-level support to users of computers, peripherals, networks and office automation systems. She/he will also provide effective user support services for all IT resource

-         Implements new and maintain existing computer system

-         Tracks issues and service requests via phone, e-mail, chat, et

-         Troubleshoot the end user’s issue and resolve upon first contact, when possible

-         record and document all details of the issue or service request, including categorization and priority into the IT service desk tool

-         give remote access/VPN support

-         Escalate issues to appropriate second- and third-level subject-matter experts in accordance to service-level agreements, and follow up on incidents when appropriate

-         Leverage internal and external resources (knowledge bases, manuals, support sites, vendors) to answer questions and resolve issues

-         Respond to end-user inquiries regarding the status of incident/service request tickets, and perform follow-ups

-         Contribute to the creation/facilitation/maintenance of FAQ documents, knowledge articles and user guides

-         Evaluates and tests off-the-shell products to ensure their applicability to the organization’s business requirements

-         Provide user’s manual, and associated documentation resulting from business systems implementation

 

REQUIREMENTS for the Jobs in Nigeria today

-         Experienced knowledge of IT Service Desk

-         Technical troubleshooting abilities

-         Excellent customer service skills

-         Adequate knowledge of networking & communication (LAN, WAN, VolP)

-          Adequate knowledge of IT security tools and Microsoft Office support

-         Adequate knowledge of web technologies

-          Understanding of how the technical infrastructure supports the business

-         Strong track record of technology delivery

-         Good understanding of maintenance methods and processes

-         At least 5 years relevant experience, preferably in IT service management. At least 2 years must have been spent in a supervisory role

-         BSC /HND in Computer Science, Information technology and related discipline (Computer Engineering, Computer with Economics / Mathematics, Management Information Systems, and Electrical /Electronic Engineering

-         NCS, CPN, NIM, PMI, ISACA, and ITSMF

-         ITIL Practitioner/Manager, CoBIT Control Objectives for information and Related Technology; ISEB Specialist Certificate in Problem Management; ISEB, CCNA, MCP, MCSA, Specialist Certificate in Service Desk & Incident Management, etc.
