  1. MATERIAL CONTROLLERS – MTCRL

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Monitor inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands

-         Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules

-         Organize files, such as maintenance records, bills of lading, or cost reports

-         Ensure project feedbacks to Company Function

-         Assist Assets Manager in relations with Client or Partners regarding materials

-         Ensure the execution of quality control activities on purchased material, in order to verify if they are in line with Saipem expectation

-         Work with the Technical Manager/Engineering Discipline Lead, the definition of the inspection methods

-         Implement the Project notification System, including Client or Third Parties

-         Ensure the prompt handling of any project variation impacting the post order activities, especially with regard to materials quality control, quantities and supply terms conditions

-         Ensure the effective and methodical use of Systems, Applications and Tools adopted by Company and/or Project

-         Updating materials inventory sheet and Materials status report as well as checking and comparing availability of the materials

-         Manage Warehouse issues and material processing

-         Collaborate with the Procurement dept. for the purchase requisitions and for the material reports

-         Organizing with the Quality Control on material issues and the certificates

-         Test documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

-         Examine documents, such as project schedules, work orders materials requirements or material priorities

-         Ensures that necessary information gets to Procurement Function on issues of liquidated damages and prices revision, according to the clauses provided by the contractual obligations defined for the purchase of goods and shipping services.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         BSC in Management Science/Science

-         At least 5 years of working experience in a major construction firm.

-         Computer literate

-         Experience of payment procedures and cycle, invoicing, milestone payment management

-         Experience of supply cycle phases and construction cycle: engineering, procurement, construction, inspection

  1. STORE KEEPER – STK

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Supervise the storage of materials received, and to ensure storing and preservation in the preselected storage facility

-         Assist in the preparation of periodic sample inventories

-         Supervise the preparation and packing of material to be shipped and execute the preparation of the packing list in alignment with the corporate procedures

-         Guarantee monitoring of deadlines and the notification of delays in the delivery of materials by suppliers, to ensure intervention from the appropriate department responsible

-         Supervise the request of materials for stores or project assuring the correct procedure for authorization

-         Supervise the receiving of materials and equipment according to orders issued by the Procurement

-         Organize the controls of all materials received, and notify any differences or damage to material

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         BSC in Management Science/Science with at least 5 years of working experience

-         Knowledge of SAP or any related Chain Logistics Management Software.

-         Experience of electronic system and software supporting the processing of data, in order to manage stock

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Technical support to fulfill project needs in the rental market.

-         Availability of data/info necessary to prepare the technical proposal in support to the commercial activity of the Business Unit

-         Coordinate with Business Unit in the definition of new design equipment to implement as well as provide support in area of investments.

-         Development of budgets and cost monitoring of ordinary /extraordinary maintenance, including estimated costs of repair and Budget of restoration of the equipment after demobilization

-         Create budgets and cost monitoring of investments

-         Accountable for audit/ inspection and ensure the co-ordination with persons in charge of routine and special maintenance activities

-         Prepare reports highlighting needs for investments/ disinvestments, managing the proposals for alienation in line with directives received.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Monitor the proper management of the warehouses procedures

-         Assist the relevant department in the preparation of the slow moving analysis and ensure the correct taking of inventories and the notification of obsolete spare parts or materials for elimination

-         Check and propose procedures regarding stored equipment and spare parts

-         Define the proper set up and layout of stores and warehouse

-         Promote and effect continuous development, improvement and management of the warehouses to maximize and achieve the timely, efficient and effective operation and provision of services in accordance with corporate procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Supervises and advices about EPC of stationary fire fighting system both for Company premises and Company project

-         Supervises and advices on the requirements for procurement and maintenance of fire trucks, fire vehicles, and mobile fire fighting system

-         Assist the Company HSE manager during developing of HSE MS procedure relevant to fire fighting.

-         Supervises all Company Fire Brigade activities, supporting relevant Fire Brigade Chief

-         Supervises all fire fighting system maintenance, periodical checks and tests

-         Ensures that all the controls are carried out in due time, as per Nigerian laws and regulations, international standards and Company procedure

 

REQUIREMENTS

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Ensure records of the radiation safety program are maintained as required by applicable regulation

-         Ensure that individual monitoring devices are used properly, that records are maintained of results, and that notifications are made in accordance with applicable regulations

-         Ensure proper storing, labeling, transport, use and disposal of sources of radiation and radioactive material, storage, and/or transport containers

-         Assessment of Radiation protection system

-         Periodic inspection as well as assessment of company facilities and of radiological activities

-         Periodic revision and updating of company radioprotection procedures as well as issuing of new ones based on company activities

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Implementation of the Cost Control System, elaborating the consolidated Cost Breakdown.

-         Issue the Project Cost Control Procedure, Cost Coding Manual and Risk Management Plan, for the Project Control Manager verification, according to standards and contract specification and configure the Cost Breakdown Structure to monitor procurement and accounting activities.

-         Splitting of Commercial Budget according to the intercompany scheme, contract and work schedule, in order to report revenues/costs by entity, currencies, and main cost accounts and prepare the cash flow by currency

-         Ensure the Cost Control System works effectively and cost status is soundly assessed and reported

-         Assist activity progress and the relevant earned value, as well as the value of work done against the invoices received

-         Perform the monthly accruals (to have accounts in line with works progress

-         Assist the Project during the contract changes/claims process providing the cost impact analysis, and keep updated the reports

-         Supervise the risk management activities startup organizing the first brainstorming and the qualitative / quantitative assessment of the identified risks & opportunities

-         Ensure the appropriate management of fixed fabrication equipment, lifting gears, and fixed infrastructures, like power station, water treatment plan, sewage treatment plan, power distribution, workshop and warehouse shed, blasting and painting shelter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Monitor vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage

-         Supervise vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems

  1. AUTO ELECTRICIAN-ATEL

 

RESPONSIBILIIES

-         Repair or replacement of defective parts

-         Re-testing the system to make sure everything works properly and safely

-         Filling repair sheet detailing what has been done.

-         Diagnose and undertake electrical repairs on a wide variety of vehicles and plant

-         Undertake electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of vehicles and plant.

-         Document the details of any accident incurred whilst driving any vehicle owned operated by SCNL and submit them to the Foreman Mechanic or Workshop Manage

-         Take readings of equipments, using a laptop or handheld device connected to a motor drive electronic control

-         Checking and testing of wiring and parts of older vehicles with portable instruments

-         Investigate faults with diagrams and circuit manufacturers’ specifications manuals

-         Identify repairs required through unfair wear and tear and advise the /Foreman Mechanic.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         10 years experienced as Auto Electrician.

-         OND in Electrical Engineering or a Technical College certificate with Trade test

-         Experience of the following: Electronic ignition, alarms, immobilizers and. tracking devices, Power windows, mirrors and power seats, tow bar and air conditioning Customize LED or neon lighting kits, parking warning systems and reversing cameras

 

  1. A/C TECHNICIAN -ACTN

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Conduct maintenance check for air-con, heaters and cooler

-         Install Air-con and heaters

-         Repair damage and dysfunctional air-con, heaters and cooler

-         Check its functions and status

-         Fix and check backage type and Split type

-         Change spare parts

-         Encode the reported damage of the air-con, heaters or cooler

-         Conduct daily routine for inspections

-         Check leakages

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         5 years experienced as AC Technician

-         OND in Electrical Engineering or a Technical College certificate with Trade test certificate

-         Skills in repairing different kinds of Air-Cons and Cooling, heating systems.

-         Experience in trouble shooting with ability to detect damages and malfunctions

-         Experience in backage and Split type for installation of Air-cons and Coolers

-         Ability working in confined and hot spaces like roofs, crawl ways and attics

-         Understand the principles of air-conditioning unit repair and maintenance, including controls, MSDS sheets, safety practices and procedures and tools used

 

  1. WORKSHOP FOREMAN – WRKFRM

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Supervise the equipment assigned to the workshop by ensuring continuous service through routine/non-routine maintenance and/or repair maintenance and/or repairs

-         Stock the required quantity of materials in order to ensure continuity of work and ordering spare parts for scheduled maintenance in good time.

-         Coordinate the work of mechanics in order to ensure that work is carried out in compliance with quality requirements and established time schedules

-         Ensure compliance with safety procedures

-         Organize maintenance activities and documentation of deliverables in order to meet schedule milestones considering design workflows and maintenance interfaces with all other Disciplines and functions

-         Perform the maintenance activities for all equipment assigned to the workshop.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         10 years experienced in a similar role.

-         OND Diploma in Mechanical Technology/Engineering.

-         Computer Literate

-         Ability to perform maintenance as planned by asset maintenance engineer on-site

-         Understanding of mechanical equipment functionality and problem solving action

 

  1. ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT – ELECSP

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-         Provide all information regarding the progress of the work indicating the cause of deviations between the program and the work carried out and propose solutions and/or request instructions to overcome these problems. Control production parameters in terms of efficiency and productivity

-         Ensure proper discipline workflow, interfacing with all the project organization

-         Ensure the correct quantities accounts of the works, including updating man-hours and cost estimates for scope of work changes

-         Ensure the supervision and monitoring of the works performed, subcontracted or in direct hiring. Coordinate human and technical resources, indicating any needs or surplus.

-         The Electrical Superintendent co-ordinates and controls the work carried out by the teams and company officers, makes check of calculations of the voltages allowed on the lines, prepares diagrams and descriptions of the ELE systems

-         Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected as well as ensure the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements

-         Arrange for the correct and cost-effective performance of electrical construction works, in accordance with the established operating programs, coordinating and controlling the activities performed by the dependent teams

 

REQUIREMENTS

-         BSC in electrical Engineering

-         At least 10 years of experience should be Conversant in organization and control of the correct installation of the electrical devices and instruments needed to make and electrical equipment operational.

-         A solid understanding of electrical drawing and excellent planning skills.

-         Good command of English.

-         Experience of methodologies for testing electrical systems such as MCC, switch gears and transformers

-         Knowledge of set-up procedures of electrical equipment and typical installations for electrical activities

-         Cable pulling and dressing, cable termination, earthing greed, cathodic protection, lighting systems and electrical equipment

-         Ability to read and interpret technical project documents, such as load list, one line diagram, cable list, cable routing, cabinet arrangements and layout Application of HSE Project Plan-Promotion of safe works practices and environmental protection

-         correct use of permit to work system and risk assessment

-         Application of a project execution and construction plan and ability to execute the assigned activities in order to achieve the scheduled targets

-         Familiarity with Project QA/QC plan and methods, procedures and requirements for the related application.

-         Computer Literate

-         Knowledge of LV/HV systems and fully aware of using and implementation of Prevented Maintenance

-         Understanding of the main international Construction standards, codes and regulations

-         Knowledge of methodologies for testing cable

-         Experience of test methodologies for earthing greed and lighting system

-         Electrical Equipment Knowledge of HV/LV equipment, cathodic protection systems, electrical control systems (IPCS), UPS systems
