A reputable Event Management Company in Nigeria seeks;

 

  1. GENERAL MANAGER/ CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Reporting to the Managing Director

-          Develop marketing strategies and tactics to ensure sales targets are met and surpassed

-          Create contacts with senior level decision makers in targeted organizations and individuals to attract patronage

-          Lead role in building and maintaining customer’s relationship

-          Implement the Events facility is profitably put into use with a minimum rate of idle time

-          Liaise with the outsourced maintenance and other professional outfits to ensure that all facilities/utilities are in usable conditions at all times and supervise other activities of the Events facilities

-          Ensures a smooth day to day administration of the Events facility.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC in any Social Sciences with professional Marketing Qualification or MBA is a plus

-          At least 10 years experience in Event Management Business, 2 years of which is in a similar role

-          Excellent client focus in service delivery and people management skill

-          Between the ages of 30 to 35 years

-          Experience of Book Keeping and Accounts.

 

  1. MANAGER, FINANCE, ADMINISTRATION/HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT – FEMALE

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Give both operational and programmatic support to the organization

-          Reports to the Managing Director and directly assists the General Manager/COO on all strategic and tactical matters

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          Between the ages of 30 to 35 years

-          Accounting experience in accordance with generally accepted Accounting Principles, program regulations and compliance requirements

-          Acquaintance with the current trends and developments in welfare reform and developments in HR Management

-          Excellent Team building skills and ability for Performance Management

-          Understanding of the Laws, regulations, and rules governing our specific business requirements

-          Ability to foster and cultivate business opportunities and partnership and create and assess financial statements and budget documents.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC or HND in any of the social sciences with master’s degree at an accredited university

-          A Master Degree or relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACMA, CFA is a plus

-          Knowledge as a Head of Finance, Admin /HR

-          7 to 10 years of financial and management experience with the daily financial operations of an organization of at least 20 staff

 

  1. MANAGER, TECHNICAL SERVICES/CO-ORDINATOR OF MOBILE EVENTS UNIT – LAGOS

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Reporting to the GM/CEO

-          Daily supervision and co-ordination of the Mobile Events Services Unit of the company

-          Ensure that all the equipment and machineries are in functional state at all times

-          Schedule of duties for all the technical and other personnel in the Unit

-          Supervise all the activities relating to the repairs and maintenance of all machineries, equipment, fixtures and fittings in the Mobile Events Unit

-          Manage all the technical and administrative personnel attached to the unit

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC/HND in mechanical or electrical engineering

-          At least 7 years of post qualification and Hands-on Experience in the maintenance and repair and servicing of Air conditioners, Trucks, Gen. Set and Electrical Appliances

-          Excellent people skill and coordinating ability

-          Not more than 30 years of age

 

  1. ACCOUNTANTS EXECUTIVE

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Reporting to the Manager, Finance, Administration/HR

-          Ensure that the ledgers are maintained in accordance with the general accounting standard procedure

-          Ensure that adequate controls are maintained over cash imprest and payment of cash or cheque

-          Collaborate with regulatory authorities on all issues including Tax matters

-          Accountable for the calculation and payment of salaries and wages

-          Assist the Head of Finance, Admin. /Human Resources in the day-to-day running of the company

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          HND qualification in Accounting

-          7 years experience

-          Understanding of ICT and at least the use of an Accounting Application Package

-          Not more than 30-35 years of age.

 

  1. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/MARKETING AND SALES EXECUTIVE

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Reporting to the Manager, Finance, Admin/Human Resource

-          Prospecting, building and maintaining customers’ portfolio and drive incremental sales growth through new business opportunities

-          Supervise existing clients’ portfolio and devise strategies and plan to maximize probable business development opportunities for growth

-          Proactively respond to client’s request or inquiries and resolve customers’ complaint/problems independently with appropriate management guidance.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          HND qualification in any of the Social Science

-          At least 5 years experience in sales, marketing and business development in the Events Management outfit

-          Understanding of ICT

-          Excellent Interpersonal Relationship Management Skill

-          Understanding of Books of Accounts and Record Keeping

-          Not more than 28-30 years of age

  1. Almost all the job opportunities needs a minimum of 3/5 yrs experience. How on earth can the fresh graduates gets this work experience from!

    Why can HND holders get job employment opportunity in/with the oil and gas sector, in the big, or pioneer companys, especially the Management/Administrative graduates?
