  1. COMPLETIONS PRODUCT OPTIMISATION ENGINEER – PORT HARCOURT

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Multilateral wells; candidate section, design and installation with well test equipment selection, cleanup/flowback support

-          Micro-bore well construction, design and installation support and new well contingency planning and work overs

-          Project support and team secondee with strong business acumen and customer focus

-          Assist for customer-specific projects as requested such as onsite engineering services, training development and Delivery, laboratory evaluations, and engineering studies and consultation training, monitoring, and support

-          Supervise engineers & new hires

-          Participate in Health Safety and Environment (HSE) effort and accountable for achieving team HSE goals

-          Coordinate the removal of drilling equipment and waste evaluating findings to test, develop or design equipment and waste evaluating findings to test, develop or design equipment or processes

-          Model alternative completion scenarios and tubing design and performance modeling

-          Accountable for the security of the team’s project information and intellectual property and compliance with corporate and ETC policies for HSE within the team

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          BSC in Engineering or equivalent

-          10 years Completion Engineering Experience

-          Excellent established network with other completion engineers, both internal and external and services provider personnel

-          Well site drilling completion and/or remedial operation

-          Ability to design and plan early stages of well completions, including, tubular design materials selection and integration of equipment

-          Experience of horizontal multi-lateral well bore design, smart well completions, completion equipment selection, reliability , and well test equipment selection

  1. CASED HOLE COMPLETIONS

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Assist in job preparation and ensure that equipment, hand tool are fit for use and all installation checks/testing has been carried out according to standard procedures

-          Promote organization’s name through customer interaction and a professional approach to job in hand

-          Ensure that all relevant documents such as passport, driving license, swimming pass, medical certificate, BOSIET and other local documents are fully up to date

-          Follow up all relevant paperwork when loading out tools/equipment in the base and when back loading at the rigsite.

-          Help in the workshop with equipment/tools maintenance, redressing and testing

-          Ensure that equipment/tools and basket certification are cross-checked and are up to date with respect to QA/QC safety standards prior to loadout

-          Capture rigsite information with respect to job being carried out

-          Train and mentor trainee field service engineers.

-          Installation or deployment of completions/tools in the field in line with company and clients policies and procedure, abiding by all regulatory policies, HSE and good industries standards

-          Coordinate quality processes involved in job preparations which include servicing, measuring, testing, documentation and job load-out, and carry out presentation when necessary

-          Expected to train and mentor intensively and develop into field service supervisor, with the ability to mentor field service engineer trainees, while gaining more experience

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          Diploma level certificate, degree, masters level certificate in petroleum processing chemical engineering.

-          Rigsite field installation experience in both cased and open hole application

-          8 years’ experience

-          Understanding of product line equipment maintenance, assembly, disassembling and testing

-          Knowledge of  downhole tools and surface equipment, personal logistics, mathematical understanding of product-line and use of computer in carrying out basic operational tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES

-          Report to country manager

-          Contributes to Nigeria profitability and many further opportunities exist to expand revenues by price increases, securing new contracts and introducing new technology

-          Supervise the region and base country manager to maximize the growth and profitability from these opportunities and also to ensure service quality is delivered at high level

-          Collaborate with the country and Ops manager on staffing, asset issues, new product introduction, and process management and be the first point of reference for any issues related to TRS

-          Ensure no excessive stock is held or unnecessary duplication stock of assets and identify obsolete or slow moving items

-          Agree what is released from country to country within this region and look outside Nigeria if we need asset

-          Create Nigeria PL strategy in support of SSA Regional PL strategy

-          Develop a TRS plan for PH base and assist operation manager to deliver Service Quality to all Clients.

 

Technology

 

-          Where appropriate identify areas for potential development in the technology and communicate these to region PLM and engineering functions

-          Collaborate with engineering function in support of the product line including but not limited to: future developments, critical technical issues, performance failures, enhancements and maintenance

-          Help in the marketing of new technologies within Nigeria

-          Assist the development of organization’s intellectual property in relation to the PL in line with corporate procedures.

 

Finance

-          Maximize financial performance in PL through supporting tenders, identifying revenue opportunities, liaison with sales staff, local managers and client representatives.

 

Technical Support

-          Assist and support in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for equipment, policies and procedures within Nigeria

-          Ensure accurate and consistent response to queries and be prepared to defend them

-          Assist field operations personnel as and when called upon

-          Support operations personnel in client interface meetings and technical presentation.

 

Sales and Marketing

-          sales, marketing and presentations to both customers and in house staff and give generic and specified technical presentations

-          Develop PL presentations both for Nigeria and Region meetings.

 

Customer Relations

 

-          Communicate regularly with clients, monitor and evaluate market information and provide appropriate feedback as required

-          Utilize customer contacts to develop an awareness of the customers attitude to organizations Linear Hanger products and levels of service

-          Communicate this to Country Operations manager, Regional Product Line Managers and Nigeria country managers as appropriate

 

Business Improvement

-          Assist country managers identify potential improvements in business processes and  increase revenue levels and reduce/remove any barriers to business improvements.

 

Personal Training & Development

-          Build technical training programmes, competency frameworks and associated documentation for Nigerian PL staff\

-          Where required assist in the recruitment of PL specialists for Region and business units

-          Career planning & succession requirements through the identification of candidates, internal and external, who can be developed to support the growth of the PL in Nigeria

-          Increase utilization of technical personnel including recruiting the right number and caliber of staff required to deliver target/forecast.

 

REQUIREMENTS

-          Requires detailed PL knowledge of assets and technical aspects/attributes.

-          Experience of specific TRS product line candidate is being considered for minimum

-          10 years experience in PL with detailed TRS PL knowledge of assets and technical aspect

-          Understand current customer supplier standards and calculate business risks and justify why they were taken

-          Knowledge of dealing face to face with clients, service and operations duties experience

-          Job entails Regional travels for PL meetings and as requested but PL/Country manager.

-          10 years experience with a thorough understanding of mainstream technical issues regarding fishing and re entry

-          Experience using reading, reviewing and negotiating contracts-assessing financial consequences

-          Strong management skills, excellent sales attitude, team building qualities with leadership skills

-          Be self-motivated, pro-active and have the ability to work unsupervised

-          Offshore experience with excellent understanding financial reporting

-          Computer literate

-          Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels

-          Ready to travel at short notice.
