United States Agency for International Development (USAID/NIGERIA) require experienced and competent candidate to fill the following existing vacant positions:

  1. LOGISTICS AND COMMODITIES MANAGER, FSN – 11

REMUNERATION: FSN – N5, 959, 34 PA (Starting basic salary on FSN – 11 position grade)

The Logistics and commodities manager has the primary responsibility of working within the HIV/AIDS Office Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) team with the Development Assistance Specialist (Commodities Logistics Advisor) in providing technological leadership for the procurement, importation, storage and distribution of drugs, contraceptives and other health commodities in support of HPN Office and Implementing partner’s (IP) pharmaceutical, commodity, and logistics related program/projects activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferable in pharmacy and preferably licensed as a professional pharmacist
  • Advanced degree in Pharmacological management in a hospital or community setting is desired
  • 5 – 7 years progressively professional level experience in pharmacology, commodities and logistics
  • Substantial experience in logistical management

 

  1. SENIOR INTEGRATED HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER – SUPERVISORY, FSN 12 (full time; 40h/week)

REMUNERATION: FSN: N6, 608, 675 PA (Starting basic salary on FSN – 12 position grade)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the technical and administrative aspects of all USAID/Nigeria’s activities in family planning/reproductive health (FP/RH) and maternal and child (MCH)

REQUIREMENT

  • MD or MPH in Public Health or a closely related field is required
  • PhD in one of these areas or a related field is desired
  • At least 7 years progressively professional level experience managing public health and health delivery with emphasis on RH/FP/MCH
  • Clinical experience and skills
  • Experience working in Nigeria’s northern states on health-related activities strongly desired.

 

  1. MONITORING AND EVALUATION SPECIALIST, FSN 11 (Full time; 40h/week)

REMUNERATION: FSN: N5, 959, 341 PA (Starting basic salary on FSN – 11 position grade)

The M & E Specialist is primarily responsible for the supporting the Senior Health Advisor in providing technical leadership to the Government of Nigeria (GoN) and others in working to monitor the implementation and evaluate the impact of the HPN portfolio of activities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in M & E or Administration
  • Advance degree in M & E management, Public Health or other Professional training geared toward M & E management in a hospital or community setting
  • Not less than 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in M & E in US Government operations/Health field in Nigeria
  1. BUDGET AND OPERATIONS MANAGER – FSN 10 (Full time; 40h/week)

REMUNERATION: FSN N4, 802, 338 PA (Starting basic salary on FSN – 10 position grade)

The Budget and operations manager provides support for health/population/nutrition (HPN) office and is under the supervision of the office Director

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or local equivalent education in accounting, finance or business administration
  • Advanced degree or completion of CPA
  • At least 3 years of responsible experience in office management or financially oriented business management
  • Experience with a US Government Organizations or private sector institutions preferable in a English language work environment

 

  1. PROGRAM ASSISTANT (2 positions), FSN – 8 (Full time; 40 h/weeks)

REMUNERATION: FSN: N3, 810, 106 PA (Starting basic salary on FSN 8 position grade)

The incumbent supports the professional staff of the HPN Office of USAID/Nigeria in handling a variety of administrative and process oriented tasks involved in the management of the HPN program and activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years college or university studies in Public Administration, organizational or Office Management, Finance, Business or other Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in office management. program assistance or related work with international or donor organization or equivalent work with a private or host government entity
