UNRWA is the United Nations agency responsible for responding to the humanitarian and development requirements of a population of some 5 million Palestine refugees living in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and the Syrian Arab Republic.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Manage administrative, financial and logistical issues related to the Project in close collaboration with the relevant departments and units in UNRWA at all levels. Coordinate and facilitate with staff from the Health Department, Information Systems Division and other relevant departments the preparation, introduction and expansion of the e-Health Project (Project). This includes: – Regular meetings with relevant staff at the Health Department and Information Systems Division to monitor and provide strategic advice regarding the development of the new e-health modules and work plan; – Regular visits, with relevant Information Systems Division staff, to health centers to ensure that such centers are appropriately prepared for the introduction of the Project. Develop and update the detailed work plan of the Project – which includes defined activities, budgetary requirements, timelines, expected outcomes and monitoring indicators- and the overall strategy of the e-health online with the Family Health Team Approach of the Agency. Facilitate and organize regular communications with the relevant UNRWA staff at the Health Department, Information Systems Division and all other concerned parties including organizing meetings, tele/video-conferences and other types of meetings, workshops, conferences, as required.
Professional Knowledge and Experience :
• University degree in international development, management or related health and/or communications field;
• At least 6 years of experience in project management in an international setting. And other equivalent qualification will be adventurous.
• Experience in health services management;
• Working knowledge of Arabic;
• Experience in organizational change management processes;
• Work experience in the Middle East in general and Near East in particular.
When the minimum equivalent required is not fully met, the Human Resources Department may substitute part of the unmet requirements under UNRWA’s equivalency. Depending on the combination of relevant academic qualification, additional professional training and/or progressive relevant work experience.
Note: Work experience alone or formal qualifications with no relevant work experience are not considered sufficient for an equivalency determination.
