Job Title: Head, Business Strategy & Executive Assistant
Location: 
Lagos, Nigeria

Job Profile

  • Responsible for providing and coordinating support to leadership on strategic business initiatives including planning, prioritization, and project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • As the Head, Business Strategy & Executive Assistant to the MD, you will be required to do the following:
  • Support the creation and development of the brand Strategic Plan, working with the stakeholders around the company.
  • Develop strategic insights based on internal and external data and business analysis, including but not limited to analysis of markets, customers, and businesses.
  • Prepare senior executive level presentations, including presentations for the Board of Directors.
  • Develop, implement and maintain enterprise wide key performance indicators and communicate across the organization KPI achievements.
  • Demonstrate ownership of and communicate the strategic direction and objectives to staff within the function; oversee the execution and monitoring of the strategic plans.
  • Interface effectively with all levels within the organization in a manner that is collaborative and respectful.
  • Provide overall direction and support to the leadership team in defining, prioritizing, pursuing, and monitoring major initiatives.
  • Liaise with other departments for implementation of the entities’ plans and achievement of its strategic objectives.
  • Do everything else to support the office of the Managing Director

The Job requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in Science, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related Social Science disciplines
  • Master’s degree (e.g. MBA) or any professional Qualification will be an added advantage
  • Seven (7) years post-NYSC work experience; with 5 years relevant experience in business strategy, of which at least 3 years would have been in a similar role within the consulting or business advisory i Understanding of the global business environment and the major issues which impact on the ability of a company to compete and grow
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization and management skills
  • Strong leadership, supervisory and people management skills
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian legal framework (corporate and commercial law)
  • Outstanding writing skills

Job Title: Chief Information Officer/Head, IT
Location:

Job Profile

  • The CIO oversees the organization’s technology-related strategies and initiatives such as online platform development and optimization, new market entry.
  • Plans for the company’s technology needs and implement any tech-related development and solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities
As the CIO, you will be required to do the following:

  • Establishing the organization’s technical vision and lead all aspects of technological development, including strategic direction and future growth.
  • Developing and maintaining overall framework of IT policies, standards and strategies that will empower business and people to deliver on their commitments to the strategy and budgets
  • Setting up IT guidelines in structural management for the entire IT infrastructure which involves computers, peripheral devices, and telecommunications, servers and internet.
  • Directing the development and execution of a firm-wide cybersecurity program that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization’s information and systems meeting regulatory, governmental, partner, and organization’s expectations
  • Ensure that the organization’s technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Identifying technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.
  • Supervising vetting and procurement of all technology related outsourced services.
  • Establishing and fostering a mature IT team culture via a policy driven approach with documented and repeatable processes, reward for innovative and repeated success, and a team approach to new initiatives and issue resolution
  • Working to drive technology goals for the organization’s trading systems and ensuring effective and collaborative processes within trading including continuous improvements of trading
  • Managing and driving the organization’s cloud strategy
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging information technologies, and voice and data communications
  • Improving and driving SAGE and other application projects from IT
  • Defining IT Policies to meet business objectives. Periodically monitor and review IT Policies to align with business objectives.
  • Assessing IT risks and alerting stakeholders to take informed business decisions.
  • Periodically connecting with Line Managers to understand and fulfill their function level challenges, dependent on IT Function

Requirements
The Job requires you to have:

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Information Technology, 4 of which are managerial and strategic
  • Experience in online platform development and payment, automation of business solutions
  • Proven track record of cybersecurity oversight and program development
  • Keen business acumen and proven executive management abilities base on prior experience.
  • Hands-on IT experience within the last 5 years
  • IT Infrastructure experience within the last 5 years
  • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
  • This role reports to the Managing Director
