Job Title: Chief Finance Officer
Location
: Lagos
Report to: MD/CEO
Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the Company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organisations.

  • Financial Planning and Budget Preparation.

  • People Management.

Job Requirement/ Person Specification

  • Minimum of a university degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ post-graduation experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in an Executive Management role.
  • Experience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services sector is required.
  • Good knowledge of the Capital Market, Investment, Information Technology and Commercial functions with bottom line accountability.
  • Relevant professional certifications e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or its equivalent is required.
  • An MBA or Masters’ degree in a related discipline is required.

Job Description

  • Responsible for sustaining and evolving the Company’s IT- strategy, operational systems and capabilities in line with strategic business objectives; as well as emerging operating environment and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Formulation and Implementation.
  • ICT Operations and Infrastructure Management.
  • Stakeholder and External Relations.
  • IT Security and Business Continuity.
  • People Management.

Job Requirement/ person Specification

  • Minimum of a First Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Masters’ Degree in a related discipline is an added advantage.
  • Relevant professional certification such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Administrator) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience, with at least four (4) years’ experience in an Executive Management role.
  • Experience in IT Strategy Development, Project Management, IT Service Management.
