Job Title: Regional Market Activation Officer
Location:
 Lagos
Job Description

  • The ideal candidate shall be responsible for working with regional teams though the respective Area managers, to coordinate and execute, regional based brand communication and market activation plans, in all the regions nationwide

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the regional brand communication needs and generate regional based marketing and communication plans in close collaboration with regional teams
  • Work with regional teams to identify brand promotional opportunities and support them in sponsoring and participating in brand enhancing events and worthy causes
  • Provide Informal training in regions on promotions and planned activities being run by marketing, and on the spot training/coaching of all visited branches on issues related to Regional Marketing Support
  • Coordinate the logistical support for all marketing events, conferences, and exhibitions. Responsible for coordinating the creative direction, budget, execution
  • Vendors: Work closely with the vendors to ensure effective delivery of branded items and other related logistics; and also work cross-functionally to ensure completeness of due process for vendor engagement, as per plan for specific events
  • Together with the entire marketing team, contribute towards the planning, organization and execution of all events nationwide, and handle all activities as might be assigned
  • Gather information and identify branding collateral needs in all branches through the regional managers
  • Identify new opportunities for brand growth and influencer engagements in all regions, especially for new branches
  • Ensure optimal branding and utilization of branded assets at all locations, their availability and compliance with the branded guidelines
  • Ensure that all outlets are well supported with branch based branded kits, and the banking halls/outlets are merchandised appropriately as per branding standards
  • Resolve all issues/queries with regards to activations, products and promotions
  • Maintain and regularly update regional based marketing activity cycle plans and budgets
  • Maintain and regularly update databases for regional brand promotional items
  • Work with regional teams to maintain databases for media houses, and media personnel to effectively execute regional based media promotional campaign

Qualification & Experiences

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in brand management or marketing
  • B.Sc/HND in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related area of study
  • Experience in commercial strategic planning and budgeting
  • Master concepts, processes and tools of marketing planning and Marketing implementation
  • Experience in communications, advertising and if possible PR
  • Knowledge of low income market
  • Knowledge of micro, small and medium enterprise market
  • Strong multi-channel writing skills, with experience crafting emails, web copy, social media, and collateral
  • Direct experience in supervising

Job Title: Value Chain Officer

Job Description

  • Work with the Value Chain Manager to achieve set targets on the banks special products

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Value Chain Manager to achieve set targets on the banks special products
  • Introduce new value chain/partnership relationships to support/enhance the banks special products
  • Achieve portfolio growth on assigned special products and ensure set targets are met
  • Maintain healthy portfolio on assigned special products through effective portfolio monitoring
  • Introduce new relationships with distributors/Sub distributors to enhance value chain businesses
  • Monitor portfolio growth on assigned Special products and come up with strategies to address challenges from time to time
  • Provide marketing support to Accounts Officers through regular provision of market and product information to support product marketing
  • Sensitization of account Officersto focus the banks Special Loan products in addition to regular loan products
  • Provide market intelligence and peer product reports to guide product review and product features enhancement to ensure continued market relevance
  • Responsibility for accomplishing ad hoc assignments/targets as directed by the Head of Savings & Value Chain businesses

Qualification & Experiences

  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience, 3 years must have been spent in the financial services sector or Fast Moving Consumer Goods sub sector
  • Minimum Education Qualification of a B.Sc or HND in Business Admin, Marketing, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or related fields with numerate coursework
