Job Title: Electrician

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the electrical fittings in the Depot, including the regular maintenance of the generating plant to ensure prompt response to power outage.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans and performs regular maintenance operations on electrical fittings in the Depot
  • Filling requisition forms for new fittings and equipment
  • Liaises with the Administrative department for the purchase of new electrical fittings/equipment.
  • Performs regular servicing of the generator to ensure continuous power supply
  • Attends to staff complaints about any malfunctioning electrical equipment in the Depot.
  • Escalates heavy or complex maintenance issues to the appropriate stakeholder
  • Advises staff on the proper use of equipment to avoid breakdown and reduce repairs

Qualifications Required

  • At least 3 years’ experience as an electrician in the maintenance unit of a similar organisation
  • Minimum of OND in Electrical Engineering.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Supervises the activities of all officers and Ensures all orders are serviced
  • Oversees the loading of products as well as the ullaging of products
  • Assesses Sales volume and results, and develops specific actions directly related to business development and growth
  • Provides various resources as required by the officers for productivity
  • Maintains excellent standards in all bulk sales activity and driving sales & profitability through the performance and development of sales officers and workers, whilst Manages budgets
  • Manages the business by effectively using sales reports, assesses marketing results, and develops specific actions directly related to business development and growth
  • Maintains a healthy relationship with the 3rd party depot officials to ensure business continuity
  • Attends to any issues that may arise at the depots either with the owners or external stakeholders

Job Summary

  • To contribute to the profitability of Rainoil Group by sustaining and growing the Rainoil Sales & Marketing Business by ensuring operational excellence, revenue growth and cost-leadership.
  • To identify, build and maintain strategic relationships that will ensure the continued growth and profitability of the Rainoil Sales & Marketing business and contribute to strengthening the Rainoil brand.

  • Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings

  • Liaises with the external community, government agency representatives and other relevant stakeholders concerning Rainoil’s operations as the need arises and to ensure smooth running of operations at the depot
  • Maintains depot relationships with third party carriers, suppliers and contractors
  • Oversees the management of key customer account relationships to ensure satisfaction
  • Reports on Depot activities to management and ensures the appropriate Government reports are made on time
  • Oversees the periodic stock take exercise and puts in place effective mechanisms to minimise stock losses
  • Enforces HSE standards and guidelines in the business division and provides relevant safety equipment to staff

  • Facilitates regular depot facility inspection and works with the HSE and Engineering teams to establish and implement maintenance controls / measures

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree/HND in a Social Science, Accounting, Finance or Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience in the operations department in the Oil and Gas industry with at least four (4) years in a management role Desirable:
  • Project Management certification is an added advantage

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

  • To maintain effective and efficient Cost management of all Construction Projects of RAINOIL LIMITED in line with her objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of engineering drawings
  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities and Estimates of construction projects
  • Draws up bids for tenders and contracts
  • Preparation of tender documents, analyses and reports
  • Preparation of conditions of contract and being conversant with JCT
  • Contracts Negotiation and claims management
  • Periodic market survey / information management for price determination
  • Monitors the status of contracts and SLA, and reports the status, variations or discrepancies to the Project Manager/Head of Project

Job Title: Depot Sales Officer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Loads the requested quantity of petroleum product for the client
  • Collects cash or electronic payments from customers to the tune of the exact quantity sold based on the prevailing price per liter
  • Monitors stock levels and escalate to the Head, Bulk Sales if there is need for replenishment
  • Reports any equipment shortage or damages to the Supervisor or manager and raising requisition for replacement where necessary
  • Transfers cash from sales proceeds to the cashier for count and recording
  • Creates awareness for the availability of products to both current and prospective customers
  • Enters all meter ticket information on the manifest and then releasing it to loaders for loading in trucks
  • Obtains receipts for each customer’s payments
  • Documents all customers information on the meter tickets
  • Ascertains daily pricing of the products from the Head, Bulk Sales
  • Prepares monthly sales reports for review by the head

  • Minimum of an OND in a Social science, Management,  Accounting, Finance or Engineering
  • There is no experience required for this role as adequate training will be given on both the technical knowledge, service and safety .

Job Title: Fleet Manager

  • To manage the day-to-day Fleet and Administrative operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up maintenance schedules to ensure each truck is kept in top condition and monitor them
  • Implement and monitor a preventative maintenance program to assure cost effective maintenance and a scheduled maintenance program to provide maintenance by manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance
  • Maintain a complete inventory system through recording of all expenditures and income of each truck, maintenance equipment, fuel, repair parts, supplies, etc.
  • Check all repair work performed in shop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to the fleet
  • Ensure compliance of the company with government regulations that have to do with the transportation industry
  • Take preventive measures to ensure the safety of trucks and drivers.
  • Ensuring that all truck are properly registered; track their registration expiry and carry out inspection on regular basis
  • Monitor fuel purchases by administering fuel vouchers / funds for all truck to their respective drivers and ensuring compliance by regular visits to partner fuel stations.
  • Handling of all fleet customer issues and services
  • Monitoring and maintaining office equipment, inventory supplies; orders replacement supplies as needed
  • Updating office policies and procedures
  • Preparing reports on expenses, office budgets, and other expenditures
  • Organizing conference room scheduling, equipment, and cleaning
  • Preparing travel arrangements for office staff; overseeing and preparing expense reports and budgets
  • Monitoring incoming and outgoing mail/Courier; signing for packages from courier service company; receiving mail and packages from couriers and delivering to proper recipient
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Qualification Requirements

  • First Degree in any area of specialization
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience in an FMCG or Oil and Gas Company will be an added advantage ·
  • Experience using relevant ERP and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driving license
